ITINERARY
DAY 1 Depart and drive to Williamsburg.
We’ll make a stop en-route for lunch. When we arrive,
we'll take a step into the past at Colonial Williamsburg,
a replica of a busy 18th-Century city. After a stroll and
tour, we’ll have dinner in the Colonial Restaurant,
a lively 18th century tavern featuring colonial entertainment.
After dinner, we’ll head to the Quality Inn Historic
Area for the night.
DAY 2 Today we'll go to Busch
Gardens Theme Park. It is an amusement park with a variety
of rides and shows. When you enter the park, you will feel
as if you are in Europe. The park is divided into different
sections which are replicas of typical streets in European
countries such as Italy, Germany, England and France. We’ll
have lunch and dinner in the park. In the evening, there will
be an opportunity to walk through the streets of historic
Colonial Williamsburg. Overnight in Williamsburg at the Quality
Inn Historic.
DAY 3 After breakfast, we’ll
head to the Jamestown Settlement and explore the site of America’s
first permanent English settlement where costumed historical
interpreters demonstrate 17th century daily life in a Powhatan
Indian village. After our visit we’ll begin the trip
home with a stop for a late lunch en-route.
